First time on TTC Labs? Welcome! Trust, transparency and control (TTC) is what we're all about.
So where better to begin than here, at the beginning? Here's a quick run-down of the way we use data on this site. Our site is pretty simple. It doesn't gather much data but we do use some cookies to understand how the site is used and improve it for our users. In the spirit of the lab you should understand what they are and why we use them before you access the site.
The data is gathered using cookies, and they enable us to know a number of things, all of which help us improve your experience of the site. All cookies have an 'expiry date', so the data isn't kept indefinitely. One cookie identifies whether you're a first-time visitor or not, and will remember you've seen this page so you won't be shown it again. Another will remember that you've given consent to cookies (if you click the button below).
There are also a few cookies which allow us to benefit from third party services:
Three cookies (with short to longer-term expiry dates) enable Google Analytics to provide reports on site usage. These reports aren't linked to any specific individual, but provide aggregate data from all people who visit us. Things like how you discovered us, where in the world you're from, what other pages you visit, and which browser or device you're using.
Three cookies (again, with short to longer-term expiry dates) enable an integration with Browser Update, to help us understand your browser set-up. This is useful because having an up-to-date browser ensures the site you view functions properly and securely. You'll be prompted if you need to update your browser. Browser Update also use Google Analytics as part of their service.
That's everything you need to know. If you're happy, then please click 'Accept & Continue' below.
