On 21st September at Meta HQ in Singapore, TTC Labs TTC Labs welcomed Bizverse, Buzz AR, Singapore Airlines, MediVR, My Meta Farm, Meshminds, Smobler Studios to our 4th accelerator program. In collaboration with the Singapore Infocomm Media Development Authority and Personal Data Protection Commission, this year’s program will support startups on understanding data transparency and consent in metaverse technologies.

Over the next three months, the cohort will go through a cycle of discovery and product policy development on data use and metaverse-related apps and services. The accelerator program includes Design Jam workshops in Singapore, specialized mentoring in privacy and UX design from Meta and partners[1] , direct feedback and interaction with the IMDA and leading AR/VR industry players from around the globe, and use of the PIXEL incubator space and labs. The program will culminate in March 2023, where participants will share their work and findings.

The first Design Jam brought companies, academics, designers, and legal and policy experts together to co-create people-centric approaches to communicating about data use.

Congratulations to this year’s cohort! Looking forward to the 2nd Design Jam in November!
